Therapy Contract
The Work
Sessions are held online (Zoom) and are 60 minutes. I strongly encourage a minimum of 12 sessions to give a shape to the therapeutic process. After this we can work either open-ended or for an agreed period time or frequency.
Sessions are held weekly, unless otherwise agreed. Reviews can always be held to gauge the progress of the work.
I can accommodate international time zones.
In some geographical regions (outside of the UK & Europe), I work with clients under a ‘consultation’ contract. This is to comply with local frameworks within Counselling and Psychotherapy legislation.
If I am unable to offer our agreed session I will endeavor to give you at least 24 hours notice, with the option of rescheduling. I will let you know at least a week before of any absence due to holidays.
In the event of you needing to cancel the session, I ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule the appointment, otherwise the full session fee is payable. If no notice of cancellation is given, the full session fee is requested.
Financial Information
Sessions are £70 / Є80 and are payable monthly after a invoice has been emailed to you. Payment can be made to a UK account or a EU Iban. If outside these zones, other transfer options are possible.
Ending of Therapy
Sessions can be ended by you at any time. I always advise you to have an ending session. This gives us the opportunity to recognise the completion of the work.
In accordance with my code of ethics, if I feel your needs are better served with another area of psychotherapy, support or provision, I will always refer you to a space or provider that may better serve you.
